Thermit Portion

Thermit portion, also known as thermite welding powder, is a mixture of finely powdered aluminum and metal oxide. It is used in the thermit welding process, which is a method of joining metal components by using the heat generated from a thermite reaction. Composition: The powder consists primarily of aluminum powder and a metal oxide, typically iron oxide (Fe2O3). The exact composition may vary depending on the specific type of rails and desired results. ​​​​​​​Reaction Temperature: The thermit reaction generates extremely high temperatures, often exceeding 2,500 degrees Celsius (4,500 degrees Fahrenheit). The reaction temperature is an important parameter that influences the melting and bonding of the metals being joined.

Sand mould

Sand mold is used to contain the molten metal during the welding process, is a key component that helps shape and support the weld.  Sand Composition: The sand mould is typically a special type of sand known as foundry sand. It is mixture of silica sand, clay, and other additives.  ​​​​​​​Handling: The sand mold needs to be properly supported and handled during the welding process to prevent deformation or collapse. 

One shot crucible

one-shot crucible is a disposable crucible designed to hold the thermit welding mixture during the welding process. It is called "one-shot" because it is typically used for a single time and discarded.  Material: One-shot crucibles are made of a refractory material that can withstand the high temperatures generated during the thermit reaction.  ​​​​​​​Crucible Size: option 10L and 15L according the type of rails.

Luting sand

Luting sand is a specialized sand used to create a seal.  Composition: Luting sand is typically composed of fine-grained silica sand.  ​​​​​​​Moisture Content: The moisture content of luting sand is crucial for its workability and effectiveness. Sometimes, 500ml water to mixture of 3kg luting sand. It can be applied by hand.
